Form opposition from PAP?
Leader of "New Times" Party Aram Karapetyan doesn't rule out that the government had set a goal to form an opposition consisting of members of the Prosperous Armenia Party ("Bargavach Hayastan") ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections to steal votes from the ANC.
"The government has missed out on the opportunity to form an opposition consisting of members of the PAP, even though it will try to take such a step in February," Karapetyan told journalists today.
According to him, we will see how the PAP plays the role of the opposition more clearly during the pre-electoral period. "If they don't go at each other (for votes-ed.) during the elections, it will be clear that it is phony," Aram Karapetyan said.
