Since Armenia has no sea
Armenia's Permanent Representative to the UN Karen Nazaryan has signed the multilateral agreement "On establishing an analytical center for key issues of developing countries without an exit to the sea" on behalf of the Republic of Armenia. It envisages the creation of an analytical center to study the opportunities for active involvement of countries with no exit to the sea in international trade, discuss the issues facing them and contributing to the processes of providing financial and technical support for solving those issues through continuous collaboration with the UN.
The MFA press service reports that the UN General Assembly had initially adopted a resolution that welcomed the idea of creating an international analytical center.
