ANC Leader:"Our struggle entered a decisive phase"
The political struggle is entering a decisive phase, Leader of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Ter-Petrosyan said at the ANC rally.
"The Armenian National Congress will undoubtedly do its utmost to hold snap elections in the country, but since the conduct of early elections does not depend on the ANC, we must be ready for any unexpected development," said Ter-Petrosyan.
"However, if we fail to get Serzh Sargsyan's resignation, since nothing is excluded in politics, we must try to raise the issue of his impeachment through an alliance with other political forces," he said.
The ANC leader says the opposition remains faithful to its slogan and continues to call for Serzh Sargsyan's immediate resignation. To this end, the ANC is going to take every effort.
The opposition bloc leader also urged ANC supporters to prepare themselves for participating in regular parliament election.
"We are entering a dynamic phase of political struggle which provides new opportunities for our goals. The ANC only has to correctly calculate its steps and take advantage of the situation. Today, we took a step towards a final victory, and this time the people won't let it slip away," the ANC leader said adding that the next ANC rally would take place on for November 25.
