Many Metsamor employees go to Busher
"Twenty people have went from the Metsamor nuclear power plant to the Busher power plant for higher salaries in the past couple of years," Metsamor nuclear power plant's chief engineer told "A1+" today.
"The good experts left, not the bad ones," chief engineer Movses Vardanyan informed.
He justified the 158 employees' demand for wage increase from the social angle, but mentioned that he wasn't one of those employees.
Vardanyan also said the employees would receive a 10 percent salary increase starting December 1.
Head of the Department of Nuclear Energy at the RA Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Mr. Gevorgyan says employees have no right to sabotage the nuclear power plant's activities.
According to him, "the men breached the law "On Safe Use of Nuclear Energy" and put Armenia at risk," Gevorgyan says, adding that "they hadn't signed any document on that when they were hired".
