Nuclear power plant joins network
The second block of Metsamor nuclear power plant will join a general network tomorrow, says Head of the Department of Nuclear Energy at the RA Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources Aram Gevorgyan.
Earlier it had been announced that the second block would join the general network on October 25. Chief engineer of the nuclear power plant Movses Vardanyan links this decision to the fact that the station launched on October 25.
According to him, the decisions are explained by the 150 employees' worker strike. "Inspection and release began right after the issues with employees were solved on Tuesday," Movses Vardanyan said.
