How will Serzh Sargsyan's visit to the Russian Federation affect Armenia's foreign policy?
The poll conducted by A1+ Company showed that our citizens hold different opinions on the visit.

"We have always depended on powerful countries. Today it is Russia that coordinates Armenia's foreign policy," said poet Merujan.

He says Sargsyan's visit to Russia is not accidental. "Small countries -vassals - do whatever big countries order."

Iranian Armenian Sepuh Minasyan says all countries pursue their interests in relationship with Armenia. Even French President Nicolas Sarkozy ‘is not fond of our eyes.'

Vruyr Avetisyan says Armenian-Russian relations will continue to thrive irrespective of the fact who will come to power in Russia -Putin or Medvedev.

Some of our respondents linked Sargsyan's visit to Vladimir Putin's nomination in the upcoming presidential elections.

They are surprised that Sargsyan generously thanked Russian officials given the fact that Armenia has handed most of its key military objects, including communication, railway, electricity and factories to Russia.

"Sargsyan's gratitude sounds like ungratefulness to his own people," said Merujan.
