There are no discrepancies between RA Deputy Minister of Defense David Tonoyan and Vladimir Gasparyan. This is what press secretary of the RA Minister of Defense David Karapetyan said as he commented on the press articles.
"The attempts to find discrepancies between the statements and actions of the two deputy ministers go to show that those statements were perceived and interpreted through subjectivity and are being intentionally speculated.
As for different social groups' discussions on the army and their demand for transparency and accountability of the Ministry of Defense, I must say that the Ministry of Defense praises healthy civil initiatives for solving the issues in the army through public support and the suggestions of experts that fall in line with the safe environment, but is also intolerant to all destructive acts that speculate the army's issues and turn it into a source for self-establishment and financial security," the press speaker said.
