Azerbaijan and Pakistan sent aid without inquiry
Official Ankara has accepted humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan and Pakistan and declined the offer of another ten countries, including Armenia.
"Azerbaijan and Pakistan sent aid without inquiring, so the Turkey could not decline it," Turkish Foreign Ministry told Istanbul-based Hurriyet newspaper.
The Ministry thanked all countries for offering their help, saying that Turkey Turkey does not need aid at present.
A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey's Van region on Sunday, resulting in hundreds of casualties and many more injured. Search and rescue works are continuing in the earthquake-stricken area.
