Sargsyan, Medvedev offer support to Gül
During the Kremlin-hosted meeting between Russian and Armenian Presidents, Serzh Sargsyan and Dmitry Medvedev had a telephone conversation with their Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gül.
The Armenian and Russian leader extended their deep condolences to Abdullah Gül over the devastating earthquake hat hit the Turkish province of Van on October 23. They also offered their support to eliminate the consequences of the disaster.
Serzh Sargsyan reiterated Armenia's readiness to send a specialized rescue division to the earthquake-affected zone. President Gül thanked his Armenian counterpart for solidarity.
Earlier in the day, Serzh Sargsyan visited Moscow State University where he was awarded the title of Honorary Professor. Sargsyan made a speech and answered the questions of the students and faculty.
