EBRD delegates discuss directions of cooperation
Serzh Sargsyan received today the delegation of the Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The Armenian leader described the visit of the EBRD delegation to Armenia as a step targeted at the development of cooperation with our country and highly appreciated the Bank's activity in Armenia.
Serzh Sargsyan hailed the Bank's participation in important and promising programs for the Armenian economy. According to him, this effective cooperation results in the reinforcement of trust and contributes to the flow of foreign investments.
EBRD representatives said the Armenian Government has done a great work towards improvement of the business climate, particularly emphasizing the amendment of the tax legislation. They noted, however, that there are still a number of problems to be addressed, and the EBRD is willing to contribute to their solution.
The parties discussed the possible spheres of future cooperation.
