Armenian Parliament Speaker invited to Kuwait
Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan met with his Kuwaiti counterpart Mohammad Jassim Al Kharafi during a working visit to Bern, Switzerland.
Abrahamyan noted that Armenia attaches great importance to the relations with Arab countries, in particular, with Kuwait.
Chairman of the Kuwaiti Parliament also stressed the importance of developing bilateral relations, and invited Hovik Abrahamyan to Kuwait on an official visit.
Armenian entrepreneur awarded
Armenian Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met in Geneva with famous Armenian entrepreneur and philanthropist Vartan Srmakes, co-founder and CEO of Frank Muller Company.
Abrahamyan handed Srmakes a state award granted by Serzh Sargsyan. Srmakes was awarded for his services rendered to Armenia, and major contribution to maintaining and reinforcing relations between Armenia and other countries, RA Parliament's press service reported.
