HHK accepts the presence of robbers in government
Member of the board of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Lernik Alexanyan says he would like to see the people who demand Serzh Sargsyan's resignation.
"Who is demanding? Which layer of society are they from?" Lernik Alexanyan asked journalists during a debate with ANC member Zoya Tadevosyan.
Alexanyan is certain that there are only a small percentage of people demanding Serzh Sargsyan's resignation.
"Why should Serzh Sargsyan resign?" the Republican asked his opponent. Zoya Tadevosyan said the situation is bad in all spheres and brilliant evidence of that is the emigration that is leading to dangerous consequences.
Lernik Alexanyan scolded: "It was worse when you were in power. The government was robbing back then as well." Does this mean that you accept that this government is robbing as well? In response, Lernik Alexanyan said he agreed.
"If you think it was bad back then, if you're in power, change that bad situation. Why are you keeping those robbers? Send them to prisons," Mrs. Tadevosyan demanded, and Lernik Alexanyan pledged that they would be sent.
