"Serzh Sargsyan's resignation is on the agenda, but the society will take the step. Citizens of Yerevan want to see drastic actions. What they want is the scenario of the Arabs," head of the People's Power non-governmental initiative, member of the ANC Zoya Tadevosyan said today as she touched upon the passivity of citizens of Yerevan during the ANC's recent rallies.

Tadevosyan says she hopes that the government will be reasonable and will step down since a clash with the government is not on the ANC's agenda.

Journalists asked why should people participate in the rallies, if there isn't going to be a clash. "If there is another way of mobilizing the people besides the rallies, tell me," Zoya Tadevosyan said.

She assures that the people at the rally on October 28 will be dealing with "the resignation of the person occupying the office of president". What if Serzh Sargsyan doesn't resign? In response, Zoya Tadevosyan said "in that case, the society has to think of the steps that it has to take."
