Armenian Grandmaster Levon Aronian tied his game against Spain's Fransisco Vallejo Pons in the 6th round of the Grand Slam Masters Final going on in São Paulo, Brazil.

Currently, Aronian has seven points and shares the 2nd-5th positions with Hukaru Nakamura (US), Magnus Carlsen (Norway) and Viswanathan Anand (India).

Vasili Ivanchuk of Ukraine keeps the lead with 13 points.
