Sargsyan expresses condolences
Serzh Sargsyan today sent a telegram of condolence on the occasion of the death of notable writer, translator Karpis Surenyan. In the telegram to Surenyan's family, friends and relatives, as well as his readers it is stated:
"We owe it to him for the joy of reading the works by the greats of world literature, that is, Dostoyevsky and Golsuordi in Armenian. The death of the renowned intellectual whose translations have enriched the literature of Armenian translations was a heavy loss for us."
"Will stay in our hearts forever"
Serzh Sargsyan today sent a telegram of condolence to People's Artist of Armenia, great Armenian dancer Vanush Khanamiryan on the occasion of his death.
In the telegram to Vanush Khanamiryan's family, relatives and partners, as well as all of his fans it is stated: "Vanush Khanamiryan was one of Armenia's cultural figures that made a notable contribution to the development of Armenian arts and its popularization around the world. His one-of-a-kind performances have been praised by experts and thousands of audiences. He was very popular and made a special contribution with his stance as a patriot. Vanush Khanamiryan's name and brilliant image will always stay in our hearts and in the history of Armenian arts."
