One killed and two wounded in ceasefire violation
On October 5, at 5 p.m. Yerevan time, an Artsakh serviceman was killed while on military duty in the eastern part of the line of contact between Nagorno Karabakh Republic and Azerbaijani armed forces.
Yuri Sargsyan (born in 1987) died from a gunshot wound to the head, NKR Defense Army press service reported.
According to the Armenian Defense Ministry, two more servicemen were wounded on the frontline on October 5 while performing their military duties.
Henrik Khachatryan (b. in 1992) and Khachatur Sukiasyan (b. in 1992) were wounded by Azeri snipers in combat positions near the village of Chinari in Tavush marz.
Investigation is under way.
