Relatives of the March 2008 victims have not received a reply to their letter left in the Yerevan Office of the Council of Europe on September 15.

In the letter, the relatives express their indignation over the draft resolution adopted by the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). In particular, the relatives were outraged by the PACE co-rapporteurs's statement who said ‘the chapter on the March 2008 events can finally be considered closed.'

"March 1 will not be disclosed by the acting authorities," Sargis Kloyan, the father of March 1 victim Gor Kloyan, told A1+.

"I strongly believe that the authorities are cooperating with European structures. The failure to disclose the 2008 post-election clashes in the past 3,5 years testifies to my words," he added.

ANC representative David Shahnazaryan says the March 1 tragedy is fully revealed, only a few details need to be clarified.

"Only when legitimate authorities come to power, will an international investigation be launched into the death of the ten victims," he added.
