S. Demirchyan: “Pressure to solve issues”

Politics

In his speech, leader of the People's Party of Armenia Stepan Demirchyan also responded to the Coalition Task Force's statement, saying that the ANC is pleased that "the ANC's partners finally understood that the only efficient way of discussing issues and finding solutions is to continue the dialogue."

"We're not against dialogue, if the government works legitimately," Demirchyan said.

According to him, the current authorities haven't realized that civilized dialogue starts from civilized elections, and the presence of tents is the result of falsified elections and the murders committed on March 1. He reminded the authorities that the people at the square are those who have been fighting against illegitimacy for the past ten years and deserve respect.

"The issues will be solved through pressure from the society, not dialogue," Stepan Demirchyan said in closing.
