Karen loves Serzh Sargsyan
Youth MP of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Karen Avagyan gives his judgments of the ANC's round-the-clock rally.
"The history of the newly independent Armenia has shown that Serzh Sargsyan is one of the state-national figures that has never avoided making decisive decisions by taking responsibility, especially when there are no such figures in the field.
He has never set himself apart from the rest at decisive moments for the country.
As for drawing parallels between 1996 and 2008, I am more than sure that the clash that took place in 1996 didn't lead to tragic consequences because of that, as well as the fact that the leaders of the opposition at the time didn't intensify the situation and called on the people to go home.
That was not too long ago and we all remember very well how Ter-Petrosyan's supporters were calling on the infuriated people to take stones and metal rods, calling for assaults, throwing the first stones and applying force for the first time."
