Sasun Mikayelyan addressed his friends-in-combat
Police officers entered Freedom Square and announced that the rally was illegal during former MP Sasun Mikayelyan's speech.
"The country is illegitimate, not the rally," Sasun Mikayelyan said.
He announced that the Republic of Armenia is not for a group of people, but all citizens.
"I won't leave this country because of you. This is my country, the land of my ancestors," he addressed the authorities. The former MP emphasized that former chief of the criminal investigation department Hovhannes Tamamyan and former road patrol chief Margar Ohanyan were arrested not because they had committed an illegal act, but because they hadn't "shared the money".
Sasun Mikayelyan addressed his friends-in-combat and friends supporting his ideas who weren't at the square at that moment.
He underlined that there is nothing more dangerous than emigration and called on everyone to come ot the square, unite as one to save Armenia and Karabakh.
"Sasun, Sasun"-the people screamed at the square.
