Choose sofa or square
The authorities have chosen a unique way of impeding the Armenian National Congress's rally. This is what editor-in-chief of "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily Nikol Pashinyan announced at the rally. According to him, whereas the authorities used to place instigators, now they have closed free and paid restrooms as a counter-attack. He also announced that the roads leading to Yerevan are closed down.
Will there be snap elections? Nikol Pashinyan says they have already begun.
"Armenia has a Freedom Square. Each citizen must choose either sitting on the sofa or coming to Freedom Square. I call on everyone to come to Freedom Square. Whoever is here is voting for the independent Armenia. This message should get across to all citizens," Pashinyan said.
According to him, the ANC expects to see the victory of the Constitution and the people.
"I will stand here as long as it takes for us to win. I am going to win as a citizen of Armenia and nobody can stand in my way," Pashinyan announced.
Nikol Pashinyan also announced that Levon Ter-Petrosyan would be speaking at 18:30.
