Pledged to build territory for burned homes
Chief architect of Yerevan Narek Sargsyan visited the yard of the residents that were injured by the fire that broke out on Koryun Street on 24 November 2010 and had a meeting with them.
Narek Sargsyan told the residents about the municipality's upcoming and future steps for selling the given territory and the construction.
According to Yerevan Municipality's department of information and public relations, during the meeting, the chief architect informed that the sale of the mentioned sector on Koryun Street will launch on October 3 and the construction firm will sign agreements with the residents that were injured by the fire.
The draft construction plan is ready and the working plans are being drawn on the site. According to the chief architect, the sale and construction will last two to three years and will be in the focus of the municipality.
The department of information and public relations assures that it is foreseen to build apartment buildings, which will help solve the issue facing residents that were injured by the fire.
After the investment program, that sector of Koryun Street will have a green zone, a playground for children and an underground parking lot.
