Yerevan delegates take gifts to NK village schools

On September 27-28, the joint delegation of Yerevan Municipality's public education department, school N 55 and kindergarten N 47 after Chekhov led by head of the municipality's public education department Gayane Soghomonyan visited the school in the Nakhijevanik village of Askeran region of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. Accompanying the delegation were representatives of the Askeran administration and the middle school in central Askeran.

According to Yerevan Municipality's department of information and public relations, the delegates had taken with them writing accessories, sport equipment, student backpacks, books, writing accessories, sport uniforms and computers provided by charitable organizations, as well as tables and chairs designed for students attending pre-school.

The students of the kindergarten located in the school building received gifts purchased by their friends in Yerevan and the latter's parents.

The teachers joining the delegation organized lessons at the school and kindergarten. The delegates also organized a concert and a chess tournament. In response, the leaders of Askeran region donated a fresco to the public education department of Yerevan Municipality.

To this day, schools in Yerevan have received nearly 641,000,00 drams through the Help Your School program, and 302,000,000 drams has been transferred to the Help Your School program.
