On September 22, all countries around the world will mark a day of discharging cities from cars with the slogan "A Day Without Cars".

The idea was born in France in 1998. Every year on that day, there are only taxis and cars running on electricity on the streets of Paris.

As a rule, all drivers around the world respond to this action. This environmental protection action once again raises the concern about the devastating state of ecology around the world. In addition, it is aimed at reducing the amount of deaths during disasters caused by cars.

According to the action organizers, 3,000 people get run over by cars every day, and automobile transportation causes 90% of air pollution.

Armenia is not participating in this action. The RA Ministry of Transport wasn't even aware of this action and that is why the head of the ministry's department of public relations wasn't able to answer "A1+"'s questions.
