Yerevan is 2793 years old
On Wednesday September 21, Armenia celebrates the 20th anniversary of independence. On the same day, Yerevan marks the 2793rd anniversary of its foundation. A number of festive events are planned to take place in the capital on September 21.
A school band from Music School N13 gave a concert at Charles Aznavour Square in the morning, which was followed by an event entitled "The Colors of Old Yerevan."
A festive concert with the participation of professional singers and pop groups will take place at Republic Square in the evening.
Dozens of cultural and entertaining events will also take place in Yerevan's communities.
