Military parade kicks off in Yerevan
A military parade dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Armenia's independence kicked off in Yerevan's Republic Square.
The parade is attended by celebrities and high-ranking officials from Armenia, Arsakh and Diaspora. Heads of diplomatic missions and guests are standing on the platform.
The event started with remembrance of heroes and martyrs who sacrificed for Armenia's independence and Artsakh's liberation. Armenia's Armed Forces are waiting for the order to march along the square.
Serzh Sargsyan, Supreme Patriarch and Caholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, and senior officials of the RA Armed Forces led by Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov are at the square.
