“Zhamanak” owes Manaseryan?
"Zhamanak" daily newspaper must pay Tatul Manaseryan 510,000 drams and deny the information about him that was released in September 2010. It must also mention that there is no case against Tatul Manaseryan and that he is not involved in usurpation.
This was the decision taken by Judge of the court of general jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash districts, Karine Petrosyan.
Let us remind that last year, "Zhamanak" daily newspaper released an article according to which former advisor to Chairman of the RA National Assembly Tatul Manaseryan was charged with usurpation. The newspaper edition had written that one of the eyewitnesses of another criminal case had testified that Tatul Manaseryan had given him money with an interest rate.
The newspaper's lawyer, Nikolay Baghdasaryan told "A1+" that the appeal was partially upheld, but the verdict will be appealed.
As compensation, Tatul Manaseryan had demanded 2,500,000 drams from the newspaper edition.
