U.S. general meets minister
On September 20, RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan received the delegation led by National Chief Guard of Kansas, General-Major, Lee Tafanelli. Also attending the meeting was U.S. Temporary Charge d'Affaire to Armenia, Bruce Donahue.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the Armenian-American military partnership, particularly the perspectives of expansion of cooperation with the Kansas National Guard. The sides registered with content that there have been great efforts for deepening cooperation between the Armenian Ministry of Defense and the Kansas National Guard in the past eight years.
U.S. Temporary Charge d'Affaire to Armenia, Bruce Donahue and Chief of Kansas National Guard, General-Major, Lee Tafanelli congratulated RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan on the 20th anniversary of Armenia's independence and wished Armenia success in the responsible act of defense, reports the MD press service.
