Targeted political actions in Hrazdan
Police officers of the RA Police Hrazdan division, under the instruction of the newly appointed chief of the criminal investigation department of Hrazdan police, continue to persecute members and activists of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) territorial structure in Hrazdan. Police officers are visiting citizens' homes and "advising" them not to participate in the opposition's rallies," as stated in the statement.
The Armenian National Congress's territorial structure in Hrazdan informs that the powers of the RA Police are established by the RA Constitution and the laws, and that any act of a police officer that exceeds those powers is considered illegitimate.
"The illegitimate instructions of RA police officers can't have an impact on the people's will to fight for restoration of constitutional order in the country, eradication of the widespread corruption and tolerance, suspension of the growing emigration and to live in a free, democratic Armenia. On the contrary, the police officers find themselves in a miserable and ridiculous state when they become convinced that the people giving those instructions are stupid. All police officers, for whom violating the RA law has turned into a trait, will be brought to justice sooner or later," informs the ANC territorial structure in Hrazdan.
Considering the police officers' above mentioned actions inadmissible, the Armenian National Congress territorial structure in Hrazdan declares that "from now on, in the case of any excession of powers on the part of any police officer from Hrazdan, the ANC Hrazdan territorial structure will implement political actions targeted against the illegitimate acts of Hrazdan police officers by announcing the names, photos and video recordings of those police officers that don't abide by the law."
