Monitoring in Karabakh

On September 8, according to an initial agreement with the NKR authorities, the OSCE mission conducted a planned monitoring on the line of contact of the Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces toward Martakert, that is, north of Talish residence, reports the NKR MFA press service.

The monitoring from the NKR Defense Army was held by field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Antal Herdich (Hungary) and Kristo Kristov (Bulgaria).

From the opponent's side were OSCE Office Coordinatoro Imre Palatinus (Hungary), PRCO field assistants William Prayor (Great Britain) and Marius Puodziunas (Lithuania).

The monitoring was held according to plan and there were no ceasefire violations registered.

Accompanying the monitoring mission from Karabakh were representatives of the NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense.
