Project work completed in three checkpoints
Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia Arthur Baghdasaryan received UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative in Armenia Dafina Gercheva.
Ms. Gercheva presented the process of the work done by UNDP, Armenia's partner organization supporting the reconstruction three chekpoints in Armenia. She noted that the design work was completed and an international tender for construction works would be announced in the near future.
Artur Baghdasaryan highlighted the need of completing the construction in the shortest period of time, saying the checkpoints should meet the standards of the European Union.
The meeting also focused on Armenia-UNDP cooperation, NSC press office reports.
