Serviceman placed under arrest over incident in military unit
A court in Syunik Marz has upheld the inspector's motion to change the preventive measure of a serviceman detained in the case of non-combat death of 18-year-old Aghasi Abrahamyan, who died in a military unit in Nagorno Karabakh on August 26. The serviceman's measure of restraint was changed for arrest.
He is charged with Article 259 (Part 1) of the Armenian Criminal Code, Armenian Defense Ministry's Investigation Service reported without revealing the arrestee's name.
