NGOs vs invalid maps
A group of NGOs have decided to celebrate September 3 as the day of map of the United Republic of Armenia and Artsakh.
The decision came after a number of agencies and media outlets wrongly circulated a map of non-existent Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region (NKAO).
Within the framework of the initiative, a few groups have been formed in the social networks Facebook and Vkontakte, which are responsible for dissemination of right maps.
The initiative is trying to establish the tradition of presenting schoolchildren with maps. Besides, the initiative is going to hold protests against the invalid maps.
The initiative members call on everybody to join their move and use maps with correct boundaries of the RA and NKR.
