“We’ve already won, and we don’t know”
Chairman of the "Hanrapetutyun" (Republic) party's political council Aram Sargsyan sees two versions for the HAK-authorities dialogue.
In the first version, the authorities will realize that there is no alternative to snap presidential and parliamentary elections in Armenia.
"This is the only solution for the country and the people. I would like the authorities to realize this. This will favor everyone," Aram Sargsyan announced at Freedom Square.
According to the second version, the dialogue is the authorities' pretext for killing time. "In this case, we know what to do. We have clearly expressed our viewpoint. We have given them until September. We understand that the authorities can kill time, but that won't be possible starting in September. The processes will speed up and these authorities won't have any chance to think."
Aram Sargsyan ended his speech by announcing that the authorities have proved that they are not clients. "We love our country and won't leave it without an owner."
After Aram Sargsyan's speech, Nikol Pashinyan asked the people if they believed in the HAK's victory. Receiving a positive response, Pashinyan said: "If so, we have already won. We just don't know it."
