In his opening speech, host of the rally Nikol Pashinyan announced that the three-year old HAK has a determined leader.

"There should be no doubt that we will reach the destruction of the bandit regime under his leadership. The HAK is a team, and this is teamwork," he underlined and mentioned: "I greet you all as prominent representatives of that team. Nothing can stand in your way."

Pashinyan also announced that despite all hindrances in terms of transportation, HAK activists from Gyumri and Maralik were able to reach Freedom Square to take part in the rally.

First to speak at the rally was HAK representative Arman Grigoryan, who wished everyone a speedy victory and underlined that different circles have tried to allege the HAK of different things. According to him, it was predictable that the HAK would be alleged of starting a dialogue and engaging in a deal with the authorities.

"However, those are nonsensical allegations, and the answers have been given."

In his speech, Arman Grigoryan also touched upon developments taking place in the world, particularly the events in Bahre and Yemen and the current regimes, underlining that they might be projected in Armenia as well.

"The people's discontent has reached the borderline that will lead to radical solutions," Arman Grigoryan announced.

At the end of his speech, Nikol Pashinyan announced that "the bandit regime couldn't digest this and would even break teeth."
