Will wait another two days
No television station has responded to the Armenian National Congress's (HAK) appeal to show a video showing the HAK's rally to be held on August 2. HAK member, Chairman of the Armenian Pan-National Movement (HHSh) Aram Manukyan has appealed to all television stations and has mentioned that he is ready to pay the price for broadcasting.
"We still haven't received any news. I hope that today's HAK-authorities meeting will help solve that problem. During today's dialogue, the issue of the media and television stations was also on the agenda. I think the authorities will solve this issue," Mr. Manukyan told "A1+".
The HAK is ready to wait another two days, after which it will assess current television stations' activities. Mr. Manukyan simply underlined that each day is important to inform people about the August 2 rally and one of the ways of impeding the rally is not giving airtime.
"If they have to give us airtime on August 2, it would be better if they didn't give it at all," said Mr. Manukyan.
