“We don’t envy”
The HAK-authorities dialogue agenda circumvents the real current social-political issues facing the country. This is what NA ARF faction MP Artsvik Minasyan said during a press conference today.
According to him, there is no real interest in the dialogue and that disturbs the society from drawing attention to more important issues of social and national concern.
"If the topic was, say, the issues facing Javakheti-Armenians, we would be the first to join the dialogue and express our support," Minasyan mentioned.
The MP says the dialogue is only aimed at maintaining the dominant role of both sides (HAK and the authorities) in the political field and until the elections.
In his turn, member of the "Heritage" parliamentary faction Armen Martirosyan mentioned that he is not too interested in the next stage of the HAK-authorities dialogue.
"I don't watch soap operas, especially Armenian ones," said Martirosyan.
The "Heritage" MP says the dialogue would be the best if the authorities provided the opposition with levers.
"Such levers will lead to equality and mutual control and that will help solve the issues facing society," said Martirosyan.
Artsvik Minasyan also dispelled doubts regarding the motives behind the Dashnaktsutyun's position on the dialogue.
"Don't get the impression that we envy them. I assure you that that is not the case," said Minasyan.
