Davit Harutyunyan announces contest
Head of the Armenian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Davit Harutyunyan, announces a contest for the vacancy in the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT).
Validation of the European Convention on CPT enabled Armenia to name its candidate for the CPT.
According to the PACE procedure, PACE Secretary General will choose one candidate out of the three nominees represented by Armenia. Those who wish to participate in the contest should have higher education [preferable of a doctor, a lawyer or a psychologist]. The candidate should also know one of the official languages of PACE - English or French.
