Minister receives Baroness
RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan today received the delegation led by member of the House of Lords, Baroness Caroline Cox, reports the MFA press service.
Greeting the guest, the foreign minister praised Caroline Cox's ongoing support to Armenia and Artsakh and mentioned that the Armenian people appreciated the Baroness's activities.
During the meeting, the interlocutors touched upon the current stage and perspectives of Armenian-British relations. In that context, Baroness Cox attached importance to Minister Nalbandyan's visit to London last week, his meeting with UK Foreign Minister William Hague and Minister for European Affairs David Lidington, his speech at the International Center for Strategic Studies, mentioning that that served as a good opportunity for British experts to get a first-hand look at Armenia's foreign policy.
During the conversation, issues related to inter-parliamentary cooperation were discussed.
Upon Caroline Cox's request, Edward Nalbandyan presented the latest developments of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution.
