Inspections at police divisions
Prosecutors will be checking police divisions again.
The prosecutors' working plan for 2011 envisages inspections at the investigation division of the police headquarters, the chief department for the fight against organized crime and the chief department for criminal investigation to register the communiqués on crimes and other cases and to clarify the fulfillment of requirements in the law on solution.
To conduct inspections, the RA Prosecutor General has instructed to create a seven-member working group that will conduct studies according to professions.
The working group includes prosecutors from departments involved in corruption and organized crime cases at the RA Prosecutor General's Office, as well as cases of control over the legality of punishment and crimes against humans, the protection of state interests and the illegal circulation of drugs. The deputy head of the department for general crimes has been appointed head of the working group, reports the press service of the RA Prosecutor General's Office.
