Serj Tankian to perform in Yerevan Aug. 14
On August 14 Yerevan will host the opening ceremony of the TUMO center for creative technologies. A free open-air concert of world-renowned vocalist of System of a Down Serj Tankian is due to take place in Yerevan after the ceremony.
The conductor of the concert will be Gamish McKish who is invited from Australia.
Before that, on August 12-13, the TUMO center will host different youth events.
The TUMO center for creative technologies is an educational center, which offers thousands of kids a unique learning experience in IT sphere.
The center was founded by founded by Simonyan Foundation of APG Labs Am LLC. Tumo will serve as an open studio for Armenian teenagers, giving opportunities to acquire skills, designing and realizing projects. Starting from 2012, the TUMO Center will also become a summer camp and will conduct summer courses for local and foreign teenagers.
