Serzh Sargsyan visits Shirak Marz
Serzh Sargsyan today paid a working visit to the country's northern region of Shirak. In the community of Amasya, the Armenian leader the premises of a kindergarten which is planned to host up to 60 children.
The construction of the building started in August 2010.
Sargsyan also attended the opening ceremony of the newly constructed sewing factory. About 150 people are expected to work at the factory at the start and the number of jobs will increase to 300 within the coming year.
The construction started in 2009 with the financial assiatance of Amasya Restoration Foundation and Armenian-German VKS-Armenia LLC.
Under the project, the community is expected to be enriched with a beutiful park, new district, cinema house and special entrance with interesting architectural solutions.
