Arthur Osikyan: "Any decision is grounded"
Deputy Chief of the Armenian Police Arthur Osikyan spoke of the reforms in the police system but refrained from commenting on the personnel reshuffle.
Police Chief Alik Sargsyan recently signed an edict on dismissing senior official at Yerevan City Police Department, Colonel Edik Galstyan and inspectors of Shengavit Investigation Division for allegedly carousing with prostitutes.
"Sargsyan's decision is compliant with the law as every dismissal is grounded. You can contact our press office for further details, if, of course, it does not contain confidential information," said Osikyan refusing to give more details.
