Armenian FM receives Ambassador of Thailand
On July 20 the newly appointed Ambassador of Thailand to Armenia, Chalermpol Thancitt (seat in Moscow), presented the copies of his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
Minister Nalbandian wished Thancitt success in his mission and voiced hope that throughout his tenure-in-office the Ambassador would contribute to he development of Armenian-Thai ties, creating firm bases for their expansion.
Chalermpol Thancitt noted that his country was interested in expanding and developing cooperation with Armenia and assured that he would do his best to contribute to the deepening of bilateral relations.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the ways of further development of bilateral relations in different spheres. Reference was made to issues of conduct of consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, promotion of economic cooperation, intensification of the cultural exchange and the cooperation between Armenia and Thailand within international organizations.
