Garegin Azaryan remains president
Garegin Azaryan was reelected President of the Central Electoral Commission. The RA Central Electoral Commission held its first session today at 12 p.m.
Laura Galstyan was elected vice-president of the CEC, while Armen Smbatyan was elected CEC secretary. Both were nominated by Garegin Azaryan.
On July 11, in response to a journalist's question whether Azaryan was inclined to be president of the commission again, Garegin Azaryan had responded: "Do you think I will agree to remain just a member?"
Last evening Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on the new staff of the CEC.
