Tunisians must have entrance visas to Yerevan
Citizens of Cot d'Ivuar, Gana, Sierra Leone, Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Mavritania and Tunisia can no longer enter Armenia without a visa. In one of its previously adopted resolutions, the RA Government made additions that replenished the list of states the citizens of which can appeal to RA diplomatic representations and consulates to receive an entrance visa to Armenia and only based on an invitation.
According to the RA Government's press service, recently the citizens of those countries have been trying to use Armenia's territory as a transit zone to leave for Europe more often.
"The resolution is aimed at making the entrance of the citizens of those countries and people with travel documents more controllable," as stated in the press release.
