Davutoglu: “Turkey will freeze relations”
If the presidency of the European Union passes on to the Greek sector of Cyprus, Turkey will freeze its relations with the European Union. This is what Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Davutoglu announced. As CNN Turk reports, Davutoglu said the Cypriot issue must be fully solved by 2012.
"If that doesn't happen, and the Greek sector of Cyprus prolongs the negotiations for resolution and takes over the EU presidency in 2012, Turkey will definitely freeze its relations with the European Union," said the Turkish foreign minister.
