Ombudsman nominates new candidates
On July 11, until the end of the working day, the RA Ombudsman has nominated candidates to appoint as members of the Central Electoral Commission:
1. Artak Meliksetyan
2. Armen Smbatyan
3. Tatevik Ohanyan
"The age of two candidates selected by the order out of contest is above 25. They have experience participating in electoral processes and have never worked with the Ombudsman in the same place. The biographies of the mentioned individuals are published on www.pashtpan.am.
Despite unforeseen obstacles in the first attempt to select CEC members, in case of need of nominating a new member of the CEC the Ombudsman will be guided by the contest order," reports the RA Ombudsman's Information and Public Relations Department.
