Armenian parlaiment Speaker invited to Ukraine
Chairman of the Supreme Rada of Ukraine Vladimir Litvin arrived in Armenia for a two-day visit at the invitation of his Armenian counterpart Hovik Abrahamyan.
Litvin and Abrahamyan put a wreath at the Monument to victims of October 27, 1999 terrorist attack in the park of the Armenian parliament.
Later, the heads of the two parliaments had a tête-à-tête meeting, during which they discussed the intensification of bilateral relations, deepening of inter-parliamentary relations and issues of bilateral interest.
Hovik Abrahamyan and Vladimir Litvin participated in the meeting of parliamentary delegations of the two countries. Welcoming the visit of his Ukrainian counterpart to Armenia, the Armenian Parliament Speaker noted that the reciprocal visits and public discussions would contribute to the development of effective cooperation between the two countries.
Vladimir Litvin invited his Armenian counterpart to Ukraine.
After the meeting, the two officials visited the Tsitsernakaberd and laid flowers at the memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims.
