HAK member interrogated in connection with March 1 unrest
Member of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) Avetis Avagyan has been interrogated in connection with the March 2011 unrest that left ten people killed and numerous injured in Yerevan.
According to our sources, the Special Investigative Service has identified the IP that posted several videos on the deadly clashes on YouTube. It is registered under the name of Avetis Avagyan.
During the interrogation the HAK representative said that his IP was used by other people and he was in no way connected with the videos.
Another 500 people are expected to be examined in connection with the March 1 post-election clashes.
